Tank Fab’s Core Values
Tank Fab’s Core Values
Listening. You know your issues the best. It’s our job to listen and provide you with a solution that solves your unique problems. We never take a one-size-fits-all approach.
Details. Every problem includes a thousand little details. Each detail we address makes the difference between a good solution and an exceptional solution.
Integrity. We follow this value no matter the cost: Say what you mean, and mean what you say – regardless of who is or isn’t watching.
Environment. We only have one world for us all to live in. Our solution for your need will include features that minimize the impact your operation has on the environment.
Giving Back. Each of us has been given a unique talent. It’s our job to use that talent to make this world a better place for us all.
The President of Tank Fab, Thomas E. Lippincott, has been in this business for decades. He founded WOODTEC in 1976, a thriving business that sold autoclave systems exclusively to the wood-treating industry.
Growth
During his time with WOODTEC, the company designed, fabricated, and installed close to 200 wood-treating plants in the U.S. Tom took charge and oversaw the design for these plants. He personally started up each of the successful wood-treating facilities. Many of these facilities are still in use today with such companies as Universal Forest Products, Great Southern Wood Preserving, and Stella Jones Corporation.
Tank Fab Is Born
In 1995, Tom left WOODTEC to start Tank Fab Inc., whose core business is turnkey autoclave systems. His vision was to diversify the company by implementing the use of his autoclave systems into other industries. Today, Tank Fab’s autoclaves are used in the wood-treating, rubber hose, and aerated concrete industries.
